Rock in Dutch · After Doe Maar, Dutch became the language of rock too. The Frank Boeijen Groep made new wave in their own language, De Dijk soul and rhythm and blues with horns, The Scene solid guitar rock and the Heideroosjes punk. They filled the new pop venues with an audience that knew the lyrics word for word.
