Views is Drake's fourth studio album, released on 29 April 2016. He and his regular producer 40 were executive producers, and 40 also did most of the production, together with, among others, Nineteen85 and Kanye West. The title was at first Views from the 6, a reference to Toronto. On the cover he sits on top of the CN Tower. Recording ran from 2015 to 2016.

The sound leans on Caribbean and African music. It is his first real foray into dancehall, alongside R&B, trap, Afrobeats, UK funky and pop. The lyrics deal with love, betrayal and loyalty. Five singles were released, including One Dance, which topped the American Hot 100. Critics were lukewarm and found the album too long. Even so it became one of his biggest commercial successes.
