Eurodance
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Genre
Eurodance · In the early 1990s eurodance was played on the European continent: a solid house beat, a rapped verse and a sung chorus. Producers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy built short pop songs with it. 2 Unlimited had Dutch faces and Belgian producers; No Limit was number 1 in a large part of Europe in 1993.
Listening
Listening tip. In No Limit, hear the construction kit: a recurring synth riff, a rapped verse, a chorus of almost nothing but the title and a break.
