When Will I See You Again
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work
When Will I See You Again is the fourth studio album by the German singer, songwriter and producer Thomas Anders. It was released in 1993 and, like its predecessor, was produced by Ralf Stemmann and Christian De Walden. It was recorded at the Flamingo Café Recording Studio in Studio City, California.
The title track is a new version of the classic by The Three Degrees, who sing along themselves in a duet. I'll Love You Forever and The Love in Me were also released as singles. Marathon of Life was written by Stemmann for the Swedish film Stockholm Marathon, in which he played a small role. The album also features guitarist Tim Pierce, saxophonist Doug Norwine and a string section from Los Angeles. It closes with an unplugged version of the title track.
