From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Down on Sunset was released in 1992 and is the third studio album by Thomas Anders. Ralf Stemmann and Christian De Walden produced it. It was recorded at the Flamingo Café Recording Studio in Los Angeles and mixed in Santa Monica. He co-wrote several songs under the name Chris Copperfield.

The album also contains a cover of Laughter in the Rain, the well-known song by Neil Sedaka. The singles released were How Deep Is Your Love and Standing Alone, the latter a duet with Glenn Medeiros. In Los Angeles, guitarist Tim Pierce and keyboard player Patrick Moraz, among others, took part, with a horn section and a string section added. In Japan the album was reissued the same year. In 1998 it came out again, this time under the title How Deep Is Your Love.
