Different

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Different is the first solo album by the German singer Thomas Anders, who became known in the mid-1980s as lead singer of Modern Talking. It was released in August 1989 on Teldec Records. The album was recorded in London at Alan Parsons's studio, with Gus Dudgeon (Elton John) and Alan Tarney (a-ha) as producers. Fool If You Think It's Over, a cover of Chris Rea, is on it.

The lead single Love of My Own reached number 24 in Germany. The album and the singles One Thing and Soldier did not enter the charts. In 1991 the record was reissued on CD, on East West Records. The album's working title had originally been Fool If You Think It's Over.
