Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know.

Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know. · In December 1986 the third studio album by the English pop band Dead or Alive was released on Epic Records. The group again worked with the production team Stock Aitken Waterman, and that yielded hit singles, among them Brand New Lover and Something in My House. The collaboration was not always enjoyable. The producers wanted the band to focus on house, and the singer Pete Burns did not want to leave the songwriting to them. There were fierce arguments in the studio, although engineers later said the atmosphere was mostly businesslike and sometimes even amusing.
The cover, too, tells a story. Next to Burns stands one of the walls of the Château de Raray, where scenes for the 1946 film La Belle et la Bête were shot. The title is a remark made by Lady Caroline Lamb about the poet Lord Byron.
