Indorock · After 1949, Indo-Dutch people brought krontjong and the Hawaiian guitar with them; with American country and rock 'n' roll, this fused in the Netherlands into indorock. It is fast, often instrumental guitar music with a lot of echo and a wild show. The Tielman Brothers played in German clubs from 1959, a year before the Beatles came to Hamburg in 1960.
