Do You Want More?!!!??!

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Do You Want More?!!!??! is the second studio album by the Roots and their debut on a major label. It was released on 17 January 1995 on DGC Records, two years after the independent debut Organix from 1993. On some editions the numbering continues on from Organix, which had seventeen tracks, so that the opening track appears as track 18.

Critics regard the record as a classic of jazz rap. The Source included it in a list of the hundred best rap albums in 1998. In 2015, twenty years after its release, the album was certified gold by the RIAA for 500,000 copies sold in the United States. The master tapes, with some unreleased tracks, were lost in the fire on the Universal Studios lot in 2008.
