You Shouldn't-nuf Bit Fish

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

You Shouldn't-nuf Bit Fish · You Shouldn't-Nuf Bit Fish is George Clinton's second solo album, released in 1983 by Capitol Records. Clinton produced it himself. He made Quickie together with Junie Morrison, and Last Dance and the title song with Garry Shider. The record builds on the R&B and dance style of his debut Computer Games of 1982. The musicians include Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley.

In addition, the album contains elements of rock and sounds more mainstream. Nubian Nut reached fifteenth place on the Hot Soul Songs chart, Last Dance twenty-sixth. The album itself reached number 18 on the Top Soul Albums chart. The P-Funk tour of 1984 centred mainly on the songs from this record.
