Ritmo Perfeito

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Ritmo Perfeito is the second studio album by the Brazilian pop singer Anitta, released by Warner Music Brasil on 3 June 2014. On the same day her first live album with DVD, Meu Lugar, was released. She had announced the DVD in July 2013, and new songs had been written especially for it. They also ended up on this album in a studio version.

The sound remains pop and electropop, but with more influence from funk melody and R&B. She worked with new writers, including the rapper Projota, who wrote Cobertor and Mulher. He and MC Guimê appear as guests. The first single Cobertor received a video on YouTube, and a month later Na Batida followed. The album went gold with the ABPD.
