Ludwig Göransson

Ludwig Göransson (geboren in 1984 in Linköping) studeerde in Stockholm en in Los Angeles. Hij werkt zowel als producer in de pop, onder meer voor Childish Gambino, als filmcomponist. Zijn vaste samenwerking met regisseur Ryan Coogler begon met Fruitvale Station (2013) en Creed (2015). Voor Black Panther (2018) reisde hij naar Senegal en Zuid-Afrika en verwerkte hij onder meer de talking drum in een orkestscore met hiphopbeats. Hij won er een Oscar mee. Voor The Mandalorian (2019) combineerde hij een westernsfeer met synthesizers. Voor Oppenheimer (2023) won hij zijn tweede Oscar, met een score waarin een solo-viool centraal staat.
