See Clear Now

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

See Clear Now is the fifth studio album by the English grime artist Wiley. It was released on 10 November 2008. The release had first been planned for 13 October of that year, under the title I See Clear. Wiley called it his first pop album. He wanted to push boundaries and still stay in the charts with songs that move people.

On the album he works with the electropop group Hot Chip and with DJ and producer Mark Ronson, who can be heard on Cash in My Pocket. The first single was Wearing My Rolex, followed by Summertime and Cash in My Pocket. Wiley himself said that anyone looking for something less commercial would do better to play Race Against Time from 2009, because there he had more artistic control.
