Playtime Is Over

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Playtime Is Over is the third studio album by the English grime artist Wiley. It was released on 4 June 2007 on Big Dada Recordings and was recorded in Bow in east London. On the same day Maths + English by Dizzee Rascal, his former protégé, came out. The album reached number 71 on the British album chart. In the week before its release it was the featured album on MySpace.

On the record Wiley tackles his feud with Dizzee Rascal in Letter 2 Dizzee. Dizzee later answered with Pussyole, on his own album. No Qualms uses a sample of Poomplex by Jme from 2006 and is a response to a diss track by Nasty Jack, Pimp on Flows.
