Little Lion Man

In the summer of 2009, Little Lion Man by Mumford & Sons from London was released, taken from the album Sigh No More. There is a banjo and an acoustic guitar, but the kick drum and the build-up come from stadium rock: folk rock on an arena scale. The album sold millions of copies. In the decade that followed, hip hop, pop and dance almost entirely took over the charts, and things went quiet for rock.
