March ör Die
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work
After the success of 1916, Motörhead received a second contract with Sony. Lemmy had meanwhile written four songs for Ozzy Osbourne's No More Tears, which earned him a lot of money. For March ör Die, released in July 1992, the band again worked with producer Pete Solley. During the recording, drummer Phil Taylor left. As a result three drummers can be heard on the album: Taylor, Tommy Aldridge and Mikkey Dee, who later became a permanent member.
Ozzy Osbourne sings on I Ain't No Nice Guy, on which Slash of Guns N' Roses also plays guitar. Slash can also be heard on You Better Run. According to Lemmy, the song reached number 10 on the radio charts, despite little support from Sony. The reviews were mixed: AllMusic was critical, while Entertainment Weekly felt that the album went beyond ordinary heavy metal.
