Sex on Fire

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Song

Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon, three brothers and a cousin from the Followill family, was released in September 2008. They grew up in the American South and began with southern rock, in the line of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Sex on Fire, from the album Only by the Night, became their first number one, in England, Ireland, Australia and Finland. After that, rock was less and less often found at the top of the charts.

Listening

Listening tip. Hear the raw voice of Caleb Followill and the ringing guitar figure that carries on through the whole song.
