Allennig

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Song

On 27 March 2006 Allennig was released, the first solo album by Daniël Lohues, known from the band Skik. Allennig is Drents for alone: Lohues sings in his own regional language, calmly and personally. More instalments followed, and Allennig II reached the top 15 of the album chart in 2008. Lohues showed that a regional language is also suited to quiet, personal songs.
