Incognito

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Incognito is the eighth French-language studio album by the Canadian singer Céline Dion and her first release on a major record label. CBS Records released it in Quebec on 2 April 1987. The album showed a new image, a more contemporary direction and a renewed group of writers and producers. Jean Roussel, Aldo Nova and Pierre Bazinet produced the eight tracks. Délivre-moi is a French-language adaptation of Love in the Shadows by E. G. Daily.

Six singles were released in Quebec, and all of them reached the top five of the airplay chart. Four of them became number one: Incognito, Lolita (Trop jeune pour aimer), Comme un cœur froid and D'abord, c'est quoi l'amour. The album went double platinum in Canada.
