Outside is the third album by the Nigerian singer Burna Boy and follows his debut EP Redemption from 2016. He himself calls it a mixtape: a mixture of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and road rap, with guests such as J Hus, Lily Allen and Mabel. The album was released on 26 January 2018. He recorded the title song on Pete Townshend's studio boat, and Ye came about after a night out at a club in Lagos.

Producer Phantom made the beat in under two hours. When people searching for Kanye West's album Ye ended up at this song, the number of streams shot up. Critics praised the versatility, and Pulse Nigeria called it the best Nigerian record of 2018.
