Fifth Album verscheen in 1965 bij Elektra Records. Het is het vierde studioalbum van Judy Collins, en haar vijfde release als geheel. Jac Holzman hield toezicht op de productie. Op de plaat staan traditionele ballades, naast liedjes van singer-songwriters als Bob Dylan, Richard Fariña, Phil Ochs en Malvina Reynolds.

Een aantal liedjes is actueel. In the Heat of the Summer van Ochs gaat over de rellen in Harlem in 1964, en It Isn't Nice van Reynolds is een protestlied. Het laatste nummer is een liveopname uit Town Hall in New York in maart 1964. Collins zingt en speelt gitaar en toetsen, met onder meer Richard Fariña op dulcimer, John Sebastian op mondharmonica en Eric Weissberg als tweede gitarist. Zo staat ze tussen de traditionele folk en de nieuwe liedjes van Dylan. Het album kwam tot nummer 69 van de Billboard-lijst.
