Moanin’ the Blues · Moanin' the Blues verscheen in 1952 bij MGM Records als tweede en laatste studioalbum van de Amerikaanse countryzanger Hank Williams. Nieuwe muziek stond er niet op: de nummers waren tussen 1947 en 1951 opgenomen en grotendeels al eerder uitgebracht. Producer Fred Rose stelde de plaat samen rond een bluesthema. Country-lp's verkochten toen nauwelijks, dus veel prioriteit had het album bij het label waarschijnlijk niet.

Anders dan zijn debuut, dat vooral uit B-kanten bestond, zit deze plaat vol hits. Lovesick Blues, Long Gone Lonesome Blues en Honky Tonk Blues haalden de eerste plaats van de countrylijst. Moanin' the Blues en I'm a Long Gone Daddy kwamen in de top tien. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry haalde de hitlijst niet, maar velen zien het als het mooiste lied dat Williams schreef. Op Lovesick Blues na schreef hij alles zelf.
