Burning Heart

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Song

In 1982, Burning Heart was released by the band of guitarist Adrian Vandenberg. It is a power ballad: a quiet beginning, a big chorus and a guitar solo that builds to a climax. It became a hit in the United States. Vandenberg made hard rock that sounded exactly the way American rock radio wanted it. Later he became guitarist of the British band Whitesnake. There was nothing Dutch to be heard in Burning Heart, and that was the intention.

Listening
