Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, from the album A Night at the Opera, was released on 31 October 1975. The song begins as a ballad, moves into an opera section for which the voices were recorded over one another some 180 times, then becomes hard rock and ends quietly. It has no chorus, and it lasts almost six minutes. Even so, it spent nine weeks at number one in England. The video helped usher in the era of the music video.
