Dromen zijn bedrog
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Song
In 1994 Marco Borsato had an enormous hit with Dromen zijn bedrog, a Dutch version of an Italian song. It stayed at number one for weeks. Borsato became the best-selling Dutch singer of his time, with big ballads in Dutch and sold-out stadium concerts. Critics found his music slick, but he showed how large the audience for Dutch-language song was.
Listening
