Both Sides of the Sky · This album was released on 9 March 2018 on Legacy Recordings and Experience Hendrix. It is the third and final instalment in a series of releases of archive recordings by Jimi Hendrix, intended as a follow-up to Electric Ladyland. Valleys of Neptune and People, Hell and Angels had appeared earlier. Of the thirteen tracks, ten had never been released before. The recordings come from the Jimi Hendrix Experience and from Band of Gypsys, almost all made at the Record Plant Studios in New York.

Guests play on a few tracks: Stephen Stills, Johnny Winter and Lonnie Youngblood. Sean Westergaard of AllMusic called it surprising how much material even fanatical collectors did not yet know. He picked the instrumental Cherokee Mist, with Hendrix on electric sitar, as the highlight. He found the album a little uneven here and there, but worthwhile for the true fan.
