From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

The Bridge: Concept of a Culture · The Bridge (Concept of a Culture) is Grandmaster Flash's seventh studio album, released on 24 February 2009 on Strut Records. It was his first studio album since Flash Is Back in 1998. Flash himself handled most of the production. Three CD versions appeared: a clean and an explicit standard edition with 19 tracks, and a bonus edition with two exclusive remixes. In addition, a double vinyl record came out in the United States.

The album features many guests from hip hop, among them Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Big Daddy Kane, MC Supernatural, Grandmaster Caz, Afasi and Kase-O. In this way generations and countries come together on one record. Shine All Day, with Q-Tip, Kel Spencer and Jumz, also appeared in a remix by Sam Webster as a bonus track.
