The Other Side
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work
The Other Side is the eighth studio album by the country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, and the only one he recorded for Word Records. Its starting point is faith: Face of God opens the album and connects with a set of songs about hope and prayer, such as Did I Forget To Pray and Love Has No Walls. The album closes with Amazing Grace, in an arrangement by Cyrus and the guitarist Billy Joe Walker Jr.
Three singles were released: Always Sixteen, Face of God and I Need You Now. Face of God did best, reaching number 54 on the Hot Country Songs. Well-known songwriters contributed songs, including Richard Marx, who also sang along, and Bebo Norman. The studio musicians included Pat Buchanan, Brent Mason and Glenn Worf.
