Is This Whatcha Wont?
From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work
Is This Whatcha Wont? is Barry White's sixth album and was released in November 1976 on 20th Century. As on earlier albums, he produced it himself. Gene Page wrote the arrangements and Ray Parker Jr. played guitar on one of the tracks.
The album did less well than its predecessors: it reached number 25 on the R&B chart and thus missed the top ten for the first time. No single reached the R&B top ten either. The two singles were Don't Make Me Wait Too Long and I'm Qualified to Satisfy You. Both also made the English chart. In 1996 a digitally remastered CD edition was released on Mercury Records.

Listening tip. Listen to Don't Make Me Wait Too Long and notice how the deep voice and the accompaniment together set the tone.
