What a Diff'rence a Day Makes! is het tiende studioalbum van Dinah Washington. Belford Hendricks schreef de arrangementen en dirigeerde. De opnames vonden plaats in Fine Recording Studios in New York. In de band speelden onder anderen gitarist Kenny Burrell, bassist Milt Hinton en pianist Joe Zawinul. Het album bevat de hitsingle met dezelfde titel.

De titelsong leverde haar in november 1959 de Grammy op voor beste R&B-uitvoering, uitgereikt tijdens de tweede Grammy Awards. Op het album staan verder standards als I Remember You, Cry Me a River, Manhattan en A Sunday Kind of Love. In 2000 verscheen het op cd bij Verve, met drie bonusnummers.
