From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Song

On 29 March 1969, the nineteen-year-old Lenny Kuhr won the Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid with De troubadour, jointly with three other countries, which all had the same number of points. She had co-written the song herself and sang it with her guitar, as a modern singer-songwriter. De troubadour is about a medieval singer who travels from town to town. It was the third Dutch victory.
