When in Rome

From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

When in Rome is a foreign-language album by Cliff Richard from 1965. It is his eighth studio album and fifteenth album overall. It contains mainly Italian songs, such as Arrivederci roma and Dicitencello vuie, and was recorded in Lisbon. One song, Maria Ninguém, is Portuguese.

The record was originally intended for Richard's Italian audience. It was also released in the United Kingdom, after his earlier album When in Spain had reached the top ten of the British album chart. This album, however, was received less well and was his first record to miss the charts.
