From HitStory, the pop encyclopedia of School of Rock · Work

Som jag är · The Swedish singer's third solo album was released at the end of 1970. Little Gerhard and Björn Ulvaeus, at the time her boyfriend, produced it together. It was recorded at Metronome Studios in Stockholm, in January and in September and October 1970. As on her second album, she wrote two songs herself, Om tårar vore guld and Jag ska göra allt. For a few covers she wrote the Swedish lyrics.

Om tårar vore guld is the best-known song. It was released as the first single and reached the top three of Svensktoppen, where it stayed for fifteen weeks. It was also a highlight of her performances during the summer folkparks tour. A Danish composer claimed that she had used 22 bars of his. The case dragged on until 1977 and ended in a settlement. She also recorded Jag ska göra allt in German.

Listening
