Just One of Those Things verscheen in 1957. Het was het eerste van twee albums van Nat King Cole waarvoor Billy May de arrangementen schreef en het orkest leidde. De plaat bereikte plaats achttien in de Billboard-albumlijst en geldt nu als een klassieker.
Het album bestaat uit twaalf standards van onder anderen Cole Porter, Duke Ellington en Irving Berlin. Cole zingt, May zorgt voor het orkest. In 1987 gaf Capitol het album opnieuw uit als Just One of Those Things (And More), met drie extra nummers. Het bevat onder meer Don't Get Around Much Anymore, These Foolish Things en The Party's Over.
